- "I had a dream I was a Jedi. I came back here and freed all the slaves."
- ―Anakin Skywalker

Anakin Skywalker dreamed of Padmé Amidala's death
Dreams were phenomena that happened when a being was asleep. Particularly disturbing dreams were known as nightmares. Anakin Skywalker experienced emotionally powerful Force visions while he dreamed.[2] As a slave, he dreamed of becoming a Jedi.[1] Shortly before the death of both his mother and wife, Anakin experienced visions of their deaths.[3] The inhibitor chips implanted in the clone troopers to force them to carry out Order 66[4] had the side effect of giving them indistinct nightmares about a never-ending "mission" relating to the command long before the chips were activated.[5]
