- "It seems they're receiving new arms shipments directly from a supply ship orbiting—"
- ―Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, informing Jedi General Pong Krell of the Umbarans' Separatist supply ship
The Dual Hemisphere-Omni Support Vessel, otherwise identified as the DH-Omni Support Vessel, DH-O Support Vessel, or simply as the DH-O and dubbed as the Separatist supply ship[1] or Separatist support ship,[9] Separatist supply ship, or Separatist transport,[5] was a model of massive transport and supply ship manufactured by Hoersch-Kessel Drive Inc. and utilized by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.[2]
Description[]
Like the Lucrehulk-class, it was originally a corporate transport vessel before being converted for wartime use, serving in a support role for both droids and organic soldiers.[2]
History[]
One DH-Omni Support Vessel was present at the Battle of Umbara and was key to supplying Confederate forces on the surface. It was destroyed by Hardcase, Jesse, and Fives who were piloting Zenuas 33 Umbaran starfighters on a rogue infiltration mission.[8]
Later in the war, more were seen blocking Dooku's home planet of Serenno until some of them went with General Grievous and a Separatist battalion to Dathomir to massacre the Nightsisters for Ventress's betrayal.[3] DH-Omni Support Vessels were later present at the Battle of Scipio where they blockaded the planet before Dooku and the super tactical droid Commander Kraken withdrew, allowing the Republic to win the battle and nationalize most of the InterGalactic Banking Clan after Rush Clovis's death.[10]
One DH-Omni Support Vessel was used to transport a kyber crystal from Utapau, even being mistaken for a mound by Anakin Skywalker, but was destroyed along with most of the droids on the ship.[11]
DH-Omni Support Vessels also engaged Maul's Shadow Collective at the Battle of Ord Mantell.[12] More were later present in Trench's fleet during the Battle of Anaxes until the rescue of Echo by the Bad Batch. The vessels were later blown up by Wrecker alongside the rest of the fleet.[13][14]
A wreckage supply ship on the planet Agamar during the battle between Republic and Separatist forces. After the Separatist forces were defeated during the civil war on the planet Onderon, the super tactical droid General Kalani was ordered by Confederate Head of State Count Dooku to withdraw what forces remained and await further orders above[15] the Outer Rim[16] planet Agamar.[15] However, the supply ship, carrying Kalani and his forces, was engaged by Republic forces and crashed on the planet's surface during the battle,[17] and remained abandoned as the Clone Wars moved toward its conclusion in 19 BBY.[18] While on Agamar, Kalani later received the order to deactivate himself and his droid forces, but assumed it to be a Republic trick and refused to follow his orders even to leave the battle droids online while they remained on Agamar's surface.[7]
As a result, for seventeen years,[18] Kalani and his garrison[19] of battle droids waited for the chance to end the Clone Wars in favor of the Separatist Alliance.[7]
Later during the Galactic Civil War in 2 BBY,[18] the supply ship was visited by several rebel operatives of Phoenix Cell who traveled to the planet in search of proton bombs for their fight against the Galactic Empire, but were instead forced by Kalani to take part in his battle otherwise they would be terminated. During the battle, however, the Empire, alerted by a distress signal sent out by the astromech droid C1-10P, dispatched an Imperial I-class Star Destroyer and two Gozanti-class cruisers carrying All Terrain Defense Pods and All Terrain Armored Transports to the Agamar system to destroy the rebels, which resulted in both the garrison and rebels joining forces to fight off the Imperial forces and make their escape from the planet in three Sheathipede-class transport shuttles, one of which was kept by the rebels as their replacement[7] for the destroyed Phantom[20] and another which was destroyed amid the escape.[7]
