The Dug Council,[1] also known as the Malastarian council,[2] was the planetary governing body of the Dug species on Malastare. A certain number of delegates represented their respective tribal nations on the council, which was ruled by a doge.[1] The Dug Council's seat of power was the Imperial palace, a conical building that overlooked a cleared area of land home to fuel refineries. At the time of the Clone Wars, the Council was chaired by Doge Nakha Urus.[3]
