The Dupei were a sentient species. A group of Dupei monks resided on Nameel, and stole credits from a nearby Trandoshan tribe who tried to buy outlawed weapons from them. The Jedi Eno Cordova and Cere Junda were sent to Nameel to restore peace, and Cordova spoke with the Dupei, learning of their theft.[1]
