"Utterly brilliant, invented everything from durable plastifoam to the Death Mark laser, but his relationship with the Republic is… rocky."
Eckard Lokin[src]

Durable plastifoam was a unique type of plastifoam, a kind of packing material, that was developed by the Galactic Republic scientist Doctor Nasan Godera.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Durable plastifoam was first mentioned in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a video game released by BioWare and LucasArts in 2011, by the non-player character Eckard Lokin during the Imperial Agent mission "Chaos on a Broken World" on the planet Taris.[1]
