EG-4 was a EG-series power droid owned by the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire. While the Alliance was based in Echo Base on the planet Hoth, EG-4 provided power to the starships and machinery around the base.[1] During the Battle of Hoth, all personnel were forced to evacuate Echo Base and flee the planet.[2]
