The Ebon was a tree that produced black wood. Legend had it that seven massive monoliths carved from polished ebon surrounded the Parade Grounds of the Duinarbulon Star Lancers, the elite soldiers of Xim the Despot. All traces of the monoliths had vanished by the time of the Galactic Civil War.[1] By the time of the Galactic Civil War, ebon was considered to be rare. Celia Durasha owned a knife that had a handle carved from ebon.[2]
