Echani accuracy gloves were gloves that helped the wearer fight unarmed against opponents wielding melee weapons.

Echani accuracy gloves[1] were designed to help an individual using the ancient Echani techniques in unarmed combat remain competitive against the most advanced melee weapons of the era. The gloves were a silvery pink color on the outside and dark brown on the inside.[1]

Although they were quite rare, Echani accuracy gloves were in use soon after the Jedi Civil War,[1] during a series of conflicts known as the Dark Wars[2] which were fought between the remnants of the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic.[1] Around the year 3951 BBY,[2] Echani accuracy gloves could sell for around 16,500 credits.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

The Echani accuracy gloves first appeared in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, a 2004 video game released by Obsidian Entertainment. In The Sith Lords, the gloves were a rare item that could be found in randomly determined locations throughout the game, and because of this, the player was not guaranteed to find them every time through the game. The gloves granted a large damage bonus to unarmed attacks, and a small bonus to both dexterity and the unarmed attack modifier.[1] They also received an entry in Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords: Prima Official Game Guide by Prima Games.[3]
