Eddie Asner (born November 15, 1929), also credited as Edward Asner, is an American actor and voice actor who voices Jabba the Hutt in the radio version of Return of the Jedi and Jedi Master Vrook Lamar in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and its sequel. He is best known for his role as Lou Grant on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and its spinoff, Lou Grant. The two shows gave him the distinction of being the only actor to win an Emmy Award for playing the same character on both a thirty minute sitcom and a sixty minute drama. His most recent Emmy nomination was for his role as a Nazi war criminal passing himself off as a Holocaust survivor in the CSI: NY episode "Yahrzeit."
