- "You struck at one of us. You have made many enemies."
- ―Edrio
Edrio "Two Tubes" was a male Tognath mercenary pilot who flew alongside his eggmate, Benthic. The two shared the nickname derived from the breathing apparatus that allowed their Tognath physiology to process oxygen atmospheres. Edrio's homeworld Yar Togna was conquered and occupied by the Galactic Empire, forcing him to flee as a refugee. Desiring to strike back at the Empire, Edrio and Benthic had allied with Saw Gerrera some time before the Battle of Yavin.
Biography[edit | edit source]
After the Empire conquered and occupied Yar Togna, Edrio and his eggmate, Benthic, joined Saw Gerrera's Partisans.
Early rebellion[edit | edit source]

Edrio flying with Saw aboard a U-wing.
Edrio flew a U-wing transport with Gerrera. Together, they both attacked the Marauder. They rescued the Spectres Ezra Bridger and Sabine Wren from the Jalindi relay before dropping proton bombs that destroyed both the relay and the Marauder.[3]
The group then traveled to Faos Station. There, he dropped Gerrera and the others off and was told by Gerrera to follow his signal. Edrio then followed Gerrera's signal to the Tonnis sector, where the Galactic Empire attempted to transfer a kyber crystal to Captain Slavin's Star Destroyer. Edrio then completed his rendezvous with Gerrera after he caused the crystal to explode. They made their escape before the crystal exploded.[3]
Mission to Dooma 4[edit | edit source]
Sometime later, Edrio and the rest of the Partisans raided an Imperial Metal Factory on Dooma 4 after learning the factory had provided components for a secret Imperial project.[4]
Death on Jedha[edit | edit source]
- «The ground rolled over. A scramble to a snubfighter. My eggmate left behind. Another body in the ashes of Jedha. Another body to avenge.»
- ―Benthic, speaking of Edrio[src]
In 0 BBY, Edrio perished on Jedha near Jedha City with many of his Partisan comrades, when the Empire's new superweapon, the First Death Star, fired upon the city.[1]
Personality and traits[edit | edit source]
Edrio was a male Tognath who wore a breathing apparatus in order to process oxygen atmospheres. Edrio was close with his eggmate Benthic, who both hated the Empire for invading their homeworld of Yar Togna. Their hatred for the Empire led them to join Saw Gerrera's militant Partisans.[1]
