- "My world is a troubled one. It has always been thus."
- ―Grand Duke Gror Pernon
Eiattu 6 was a planet in the Ado sector of the Mid Rim. Commonly called simply Eiattu by its inhabitants, it was ruled by a monarchy.
Geography[]
Red-purple plants dotted the landscape, while the swamps were filled with large feathered-reptilian beasts, such as thuvasaurs and native thaks.[3]
Eiattu's capital served as a port on one of the planet's oceans.[3]
History[]
Imperial period[]
- "Years ago, with the fall of the Old Republic, Emperor Antbbianplourr III bartered away our pride and our honor to keep the throne, and the Imperials from our world. This was the beginning of the end for us."
- ―Grand Duke Gror Pernon
The planet was ruled for centuries by the royal house of Eiattu 6. When the Declaration of a New Order transformed the Old Republic into the Galactic Empire, Antbbianplourr III made humiliating concessions to retain his throne and to prevent the deployment of Imperial forces to the planet. He was succeeded by his only son, Uthorrferrell Cartha. After five years of reign, the Empire dispatched Moff Tharil Tavira and a garrison of stormtroopers to Eiattu.[3]
The planet's nobles, known as the Priamsta, later rebelled, believing that they could deal better with Tavira on their own terms. They overthrew and exiled the royal family, but a small faction murdered the family. The Priamsta took power on the world and acted as an oligarchy but found itself embroiled in a civil war against the People's Liberation Battalion. Years later, Moff Tharil Tavira was succeeded by his wife, a young native woman named Leonia Tavira.[3]
New Republic era[]
- "Perhaps after that, with newfound unity, we can then learn to walk together."
- ―Princess Isplourrdacartha Estillo
After the Battle of Endor, the Priamsta discovered that an heiress to the royal line had survived, Princess Isplourrdacartha Estillo, also known as Rogue Squadron pilot Plourr Ilo. She returned to rule her people with the support of the nobility which intended to counteract another royal heir, Prince Harrandatha Estillo, who had joined the People's Liberation Battalion. A battle soon erupted in which the PLB and Rogue Squadron defeated the Imperial forces on the planet, forcing Moff Tavira to flee Eiattu. During the battle, Princess Isplourrdacartha revealed Prince Harrandatha as an impostor and an Imperial agent, gaining the recognition of the People's Liberation Battalion. The Priamsta was eventually forced to adjust to a new political situation, with a revitalized monarchy determined to rule in cooperation with the people.[3]
Several months later, Rogue Squadron members, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Winter impersonating Leia Organa went to a reception organized on Eiattu 6 by Princess Estillo in order to cover the true Leia's mission on Axxila. However, Winter was kidnapped by Leonia Tavira's pirates, who intended to capture the true Leia Organa.[4]
