"Rex! Droid poppers, now!"
Ahsoka Tano[src]

An Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) grenade, also called a droid popper,[6] was a type of grenade that utilized electromagnetic emissions to disable a battle droid's circuits,[1] though its effectiveness depended on distance and placement relative to the target. They were used by the Jedi and their clone troopers against the Separatist Droid Army during the Clone Wars.[6]
