Electronic lock breakers were small, powerful and limited-using slicing rigs that were designed to break through the most common types of computerized locks. As such with most equipment, they came in a variety of models, from low-tech versions used to override simple civilian house and vehicle locks to heavily modified, military-grade lock slicers that were capable of cutting through the locks on the bridge of an Imperial-class Star Destroyer used by the Galactic Empire.[1]
