- "Could you pass me the electrostatic discharge coupling, Kaz?"
"Eh, sure." - ―Neeku Vozo and Kazuda Xiono
An electrostatic discharge coupling was a small starship component.[1] In 34 ABY,[2] When Kazuda Xiono was fixing his racing starfighter, the Fireball, static discharge couplings were among the spare parts that had to be bought from Orka and Flix's Office of Acquisitions.[3] When Tam Ryvora was repairing Xiono's racing starfighter later, her Aurebesh list of parts included a "static discharge coupling."[4] Later, the mechanic Neeku Vozo asked if Xiono could pass him the component while the two were performing maintenance on the Fireball. Xiono complied, kicking the starship part up off the ground and catching it before tossing it to Vozo.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Electrostatic discharge couplings first appeared in "The Recruit," the first episode of the animated television series Star Wars Resistance.[3]
