- "N-O-Seven-One-Eight, you're to report to the Star Destroyer Eliminator immediately, to Lieutenant Commander Cherik. N-Y-One-One-Two, same orders."
- ―An Imperial commander
The Eliminator was a Star Destroyer in service to the Imperial Navy during the Galactic Civil War.[1] In 0 ABY,[2] around one week after the Battle of Yavin, in which the Galactic Empire's Death Star battle station was destroyed, the Eliminator was one of around a dozen Star Destroyers that formed the new core of the Imperial Starfleet.[1]
At that time, the Star Destroyers were assembled in rough formation along with countless transports and smaller ships. As their transport was docking with the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Devastator, which was also a part the fleet, the Imperial personnel designated NO-718 and NY-112 were ordered by their commander to report to Lieutenant Commander Cherik on the Eliminator.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The Eliminator was first mentioned in Lost Stars, a 2015 young-adult novel by Claudia Gray.[1]
