"Coming in for landing! We'll be at Primus Base within five minutes!"
―Jedi Master Elio[1]

Elio was a Jedi Master who served as a member of the Jedi Order during the Republic Era.[1] Around 68 BBY,[2] the Master was sent to the world Shurrupak to assist in a battle and traveled there in a shuttle alongside fellow Jedi Master Dooku and his Padawan Qui-Gon Jinn. The ship came under heavy fire while in transit, leading Elio to remark that, despite the turbulence, the world's Primus Base establishment and its landing site were within a five-minute flight of the ship's location. Upon landing on Shurrupak's beach, Elio hurriedly left the shuttle with the other Jedi and entered Primus Base through a gate.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Elio appeared in a flashback sequence in Master & Apprentice, a 2019 novel written by Claudia Gray.[1]

Notes and references[]

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 1.3 1.4 Master & Apprentice
  2. Skywalker: A Family at War places the events of Master & Apprentice eight years before the Invasion of Naboo, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to 32 BBY. Therefore, Master & Apprentice takes place in 40 BBY. Qui-Gon Jinn is established to be forty years old in Master & Apprentice, placing his birth around 80 BBY. Given that Jinn was around twelve years old in the flashback scene depicting the battle on Shurrupak in which Elio appeared, it must have taken place sometime near 68 BBY.
