An aurodium mine was located in Grid 24B-30 of the planet Elphrona. During the High Republic Era, Freeno, one of several Er'kit miners searching for the mineral aurodium, discovered a valuable kantak crystal in the mine and attempted to unearth it with his rockspanner. His efforts, however, caused the mine to collapse. With the help of Jedi Loden Greatstorm and Bell Zettifar, Freeno was able to escape the mine.[1]

The mine appeared in "Set For Life," a story written by Charles Soule contained in The High Republic Adventures Annual 2021.[1] The comic was released on December 15, 2021.[2]
