Lady Emelsine Tarkin,[3] or Emie for short, was a human[2] female[3] who was a member of the Tarkin family who lived on[2] the Outer Rim[5] planet Eriadu during the High Republic Era. When her cousin Sevran Tarkin took control of the family after the Nihil invasion of Eriadu and began icing out the Jedi Order and Galactic Republic members on Eriadu, Emelsine remained the only family member who would tell the Republic and Jedi things about the family while it decided where it stood in the conflict.[2]
