The father of the Rebel Alliance soldier Emon Kref was a male general in the Koshagan People's Movement, a group of freedom fighters who led an uprising against the ruling class of the planet Koshaga for many years.[1] Around 3 ABY,[2] however, the Galactic Empire conducted a an operation which quickly defeated the People's Movement, taking leaders like Kref's father prisoner.[1]
Behind the scenes[]

- ↑ "Beyond Hope" establishes that the Galactic Empire intervened in the Koshagan uprising a few weeks prior to the Battle of Hoth, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to 3 ABY. The Empire's intervention must have therefore taken place around that year.
