Enarc was an astronomical object located in the galaxy's Mid Rim[1] and Trailing Sectors.[2] Situated near[1] the planet[4] Naboo, Enarc was located in square O-17 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
In 32 BBY,[5] the Trade Federation blockaded Naboo in preparation for a planned invasion, resulting in food shortages. Governor Kelma of the planet Karlinus, located elsewhere in Naboo's Chommell sector, sent an agricultural transport full of grain to Naboo as a sign of good faith after the recent summit. However, the starship was refused passage and forced to divert to Enarc, where the grain was placed in cold storage.[4]
Behind the scenes[]
Enarc was first canonically mentioned on a galactic map in the January 29, 2016 StarWars.com article "Where in the Galaxy Are the Worlds of Star Wars: The Force Awakens?" by Mark Newbold.[6] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the planet Enarc was first mentioned in the 1993 Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game supplement Twin Stars of Kira.[7]
