Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn being held in energy cages on Telos IV

An energy cage was a type of metal cage used to imprison beings. If a prisoner touched the metal bars, the individual suffered a strong electrical burn. Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi were locked in energy cages by Xanatos during their mission to Telos.[1] The energy cage was based often on the same technology as an energy gate.
