Episode I Adventures 5: The Ghostling Children is a Star Wars Legends junior novel written by Dave Wolverton. It is the fifth volume of the Star Wars: Episode I Adventures series, and it was published by Scholastic in January 2000, with an accompanying gamebook. A sequel, The Hunt for Anakin Skywalker, was published the following month.

The Ghostling children live on a beautiful, isolated world, safe from harm…until they are captured by an evil trader. Soon they find themselves on the harsh planet of Tatooine, about to be sold to the terrifying Gardulla the Hutt.

Their only hope of survival is a young slave named Anakin and his friends.

Episode I Adventures 5: The Ghostling Children tells a continuous story with the next three Star Wars: Episode I Adventures books, and The Official Star Wars Fact File 12 ANA 1-4: Anakin Skywalker states that Anakin Skywalker was between the ages of 5 and 9 during the events of the books, giving a range of 3733 BBY per The New Essential Chronology. The Ghostling Children also depicts Anakin as older than the eight-year-old Arawynne, putting the books in 33 BBY.
