Er'Kit was a desert planet[5] located in the Noonian sector of[3] the Outer Rim Territories.[1] It was the homeworld of the Er'Kit species.[5] Before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Er'Kit senator Danry Ledwellow took bribes from Thalassian enslavers, allowing them to use his planet for their illicit activities in exchange for a private army of IG-227 Hailfire-class droid tanks.[4]

During the Galactic Civil War, Saponza and his partner traveled to Er'Kit to quash the slaver group Blood Dawn.[4] They were helped by the Er'Kit Dyro Felldor; however, Felldor had plans of his own and eventually betrayed them.[6]
