Erveen served as a Senior Senator in the Imperial Senate of the Galactic Empire where she represented Hodi. In 2 BBY, she assisted Senior Senator Bail Organa in invoked Article 17-252 in order to allow Senior Senator Mon Mothma to give a speech condemning the Ghorman Massacre.
Biography[]
Erveen was a politician who by 2 BBY[3] had become a Senior Senator represting Hodi in the in the Imperial Senate of the Galactic Empire. Following the Ghorman Massacre[1] in 2 BBY,[3] the senate held a session to discuss the events. Erveen was one of several senators who spoke within the Grand Convocation Chamber as part of the day's agenda. After the Senate's Oathkeeper, serving as Chair of the Senate, recognized Senator Erveen, Erveen yielded a moment of her time to Bail Prestor Organa, Senior Senator of Alderaan. Organa subsequently invoked Article 17-252, and further yielded his time to Senior Senator Mon Mothma of Chandrila, who used the time to denounce Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine as responsible for the Ghorman Massacre. Mothma subsequently made an escape from the Senate[1] and stated the Declaration of the Rebel Alliance above Dantooine's orbit, officially creating the Alliance to Restore the Republic.[4]

Erveen was a human with light skin and gray hair[1]. She was a confident public speaker and a trusted ally of Bail Organa.[2]

During Mon Mothma's speech, Erveen wore an elegant maroon dress with bands of gold colored crecents running down the front and a gold colored belt.[1]

Erveen appeared in the ninth episode of the second season of the live-action Disney+ series Andor[1] which aired on May 6, 2025.[5] Erveen was portrayed by Jane Bertish in the episode.[1]
