The Esstran sector was located in the Outer Rim Territories of the galaxy. The sector contained the planet Moraband[1] and the Thurra system which contained the planet Thule.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
The Esstran sector first canonically appeared in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode "Sacrifice,"[3] which was released on Netflix on March 7, 2014, as part of the show's sixth season,[4] of which it is the thirteenth and final episode.[5] The sector was first identified in the 2017 reference book Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, written by Daniel Wallace.[6]
In the Legends continuity, the Esstran sector first appeared in The Empire Strikes Back Monthly 149,[7] and was first identified in the Star Wars: The Essential Atlas Online Companion, published on StarWars.com.[8]
