Evasive Action: End Game is the fourth and final webstrip in the Evasive Action series on Hyperspace. It began on November 6, 2006. Like the others in the series it was written by Paul Ens and drawn by Tom Hodges.
Darth Vader had a central role to the series, which involves him confronting Drake Lo'gaan, Ekria, and Zonder. There are also tie-ins to Marvel Star Wars.
Plot summary[]
Prince Xizor captures Zonder and brings him to Inquisitor Tremayne. After hours of torturing the former Padawan, Tremayne is surprised when his master, Darth Vader, enters the room and releases Zonder. After activating a nearby holocommunicator, Vader then proceeds to duel and kill the outmatched Selonian as Ekria and Drake watch horrified through the holocommunication link.
Drake and Ekria go after Vader, but Tremayne and his allies in Imperial Intelligence capture Drake while Ekria escapes (but follows as a stowaway). The Dark Lord tempts his captive with the power of the dark side, but after seeing the Sith torture and blind an Imperial officer, Drake renounces any thoughts he had of joining Vader. Together, he and Ekria engage Vader with both seemingly perishing at the Dark Lord's hand. It was all a trick, however; Ekria and Drake fake their deaths, retrieve Zonder's body, and give him an honorable funeral as they renounce their Jedi legacy and prepare to live out the rest of their lives as ordinary people.
