The Excavator Droid Mark II was a bipedal mining droid]] model that was used at the Peragus Mining Facility during and prior to 3,951 BBY. It was similar to the Mining droid Mark II, but was painted red..
All such droids were destroyed when the Mining Facility itself was consumed in a chain-reaction explosion triggered by the Republic Hammerhead-class capital ship Harbinger, which had been seized by the Sith Lord Darth Sion.
