Executor Executes was a painting created after 104 ABY that depicted the Super Star Destroyer Executor and eight Imperial-class Star Destroyers in an attack on an artificial ring surrounding an orange celestial body. The painting also included two more celestial bodies in the background.
Behind the scenes
Executor Executes appeared in "Celestia Galactica Photografica," a collection of in-universe illustrations by Ryan Church collected in Star Wars: Visionaries, a graphic novel edited by Jeremy Barlow and published in 2005.
Notes and references
- "Celestia Galactica Photografica" was included in Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: Legacy Vol. 4, which describes the stories it contains as taking place more than a century after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi. That film took place in 4 ABY according to The Essential Atlas, meaning that all paintings in "Celestia Galactica Photografica," including Executor Executes, must have been created after 104 ABY.
