Fadden was a world[2] located in the Fadden system, a part of the Slice portion of the Inner Rim.[1] It was settled by colonists of the Duros species,[2] which was native to the Core Worlds planet Duro.[3]

Fadden was situated in the territory of the Galactic Republic around 22,000 BBY. By that time, it was connected by a hyperlane to the Colonies' Commenor system. The hyperspace route had been extended to the Pyrshak system by 5000 BBY but had ceased to exist by the time of the Mandalorian Wars of 3976 BBY3960 BBY.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Fadden was first mentioned in "The University of Sanbra Guide to Intelligent Life: The Duros," an article authored by Bart Armstrong and Steve Miller with Cory Herndon and published in Star Wars Gamer 2[2] in February 2001.[4] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Fadden system, and therefore the world itself, in grid square N-11.[1]
