Fala was the daughter of the Sedrian bishop of war, Karak.

Biography[]

Fala was the daughter of Karak, bishop of war to the Priests of the Sun and later leader of his own group of dissidents. When she was younger, Fala and Pek, son of High Priest Cardo, were involved in a romance. Fala supported her father's beliefs that Sedrian society and its relationship to the Golden Sun had to be reformed. However, unlike her father, Fala truly believed in these ideals, and did not crave power for herself. She was largely unaware of Karak's grander plans to obtain power on Sedri.[1]

When an Alliance to Restore the Republic team went to the settlement to find the missing diplomat Mors Odrion, Fala greeted them cautiously. The Alliance team managed to convince Fala that her father was in league with the Galactic Empire, which caused Fala and many of the renegades to recant their support for Karak. During the Battle of Fitsay, Fala, Pek and the Mon Calamari Rekara assisted the Golden Sun's chosen champion in defeating Karak and freeing the Golden Sun to spread across Sedri. Fala, alongside Pek, succeeded Cardo as High Priest.[1]

Personality and traits[]

Fala was a firm believer in the ideas of societal reform. She would listen to reasonable arguments, but had little patient for stupidity and prejudice.[1]
