The Farnica system was located in the Interior Region, an area of the Hapes Cluster in the Slice portion of the Inner Rim. It was connected via hyperlanes to the Novi and Sivoria systems.[1] The Farnica system was the origin point of the art form known as the Farnican chime-painting.[2][3]

Behind the scenesEdit

The Farnica system was introduced in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square O-9.[1]

Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Farnican chime-painting in relation to the Farnica system.
