Feeks were a type of animal that inhabited the frozen plains of the planet[2] Dowut, where they lived in subterranean dens that they used for hibernation. The omnivorous herd animals that would eventually evolve into the sentient Dowutin species used their spiked digits and chin tusks to dig for hibernating feeks beneath the plains of their shared homeworld.[1]
