- "That's Felucia, dead ahead."
"But where's the medical station? I don't see anything on my scanners." - ―Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano
The Felucia Medical Station HCTFF2 was a Haven-class medical station that served as a medcenter for the Galactic Republic and was assigned to the 12th Sector Army during the Clone Wars. In 21 BBY, the space station, situated in orbit of the planet Felucia, was destroyed by a Separatist Alliance naval force. In response to the attack, the Republic dispatched Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, as well as Skywalker's Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, to confirm the station's destruction.
Description[]
As a Haven-class medical station of the Galactic Republic,[1] the Felucia Medical Station HCTFF2[4] spanned 651.48 meters in diameter.[2] A medcenter for the Republic Military, it was equipped with several bacta tanks for revitalizing[4] at least 60,000 wounded clone troopers[3] and carried supplies for emergencies. The space station was situated in the Thanium sector[4] of the regions known as the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Slice,[5] where it was located in orbit of[1] the planet[8] Felucia in its eponymous star system.[1]
History[]
- "I guess we know what happened to the medical station."
- ―Obi-Wan Kenobi, as the Jedi shuttle comes under attack by Separatist vulture droids
During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Felucia Medical Station HCTFF2 was established by the Republic over Felucia, which had become heavily contested due to its proximity to the Perlemian Trade Route[8] super-hyperroute.[9] One of twenty Haven-class medical stations utilized by the Republic's Sector Armies,[10] the Felucia medical station was assigned[8] to the 12th Sector Army,[6] whose military campaign against the Confederacy had enveloped Felucia.[8]

The Felucia Medical Station HCTFF2 is destroyed by the Confederacy navy.
However,[1] in 21 BBY,[7] the Felucia Medical Station HCTFF2 was attacked and destroyed by a Separatist naval force consisting of a lone Providence-class Dreadnought accompanied by two Munificent-class star frigates. Subsequently, a deployment station for Separatist Vulture-class droid starfighters was established in Felucia's orbit. In response to the assault, the Republic dispatched Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, as well as Skywalker's Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, to investigate. The space station was confirmed to have been destroyed when Tano was unable to detect it on the scanners of the Jedi's T-6 shuttle.[1]
While investigating, the Jedi trio discovered the deployment station and crashed on Felucia's surface as their shuttle was shot down by vulture droids. Afterward, the trio—despite their need to report the station's destruction to the Republic—became involved in a skirmish on the planet's surface against the pirate Hondo Ohnaka and his gang. The Jedi were later able to return to the Republic, reporting their discoveries to the government.[1]
Commanders and crew[]
The Felucia Medical Station HCTFF2 was operated by a small crew of clone troopers who oversaw the space station's operations.[4]
Behind the scenes[]
The Felucia Medical Station HCTFF2 was introduced in the opening newsreel of "Bounty Hunters,"[1] the seventeenth episode of the second season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series, which aired on April 2, 2010.[11] It was later identified in Collapse of the Republic, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars Roleplaying product series.[4]
