A field box was a type of case used by agents and spys of the Galactic Republic to store important information that they had learned. Bellis, a Republic spy on the planet Ord Mantell, owned a field box in which he stored information about a ZR-57 orbital strike bomb captured by a group of separatists shortly before his death at their hands during the Separatist War.
