Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes was a 7-member band that performed at Chalmun's Cantina on the planet Tatooine around the time of the Battle of Yavin. The band was known to play the song "Mad About Me."
Behind the scenes
In 1977's Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, seven Bith can be seen performing on stage in the cantina. An eighth Bith sits at a nearby booth.[4] The 2011 Star Wars Legends source, Star Wars Character Encyclopedia originally established that Sun'il Ei'de was the seventh Bith on stage during the film.[5]
