An armed Imperial Forward Outpost
Forward Outposts were a type of small base, which were established across a wide number of worlds. They were employed by both the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic.

A Rebel Forward Outpost
Forward Outposts could be armed with no more than two turrets. Imperial operated Forward Outposts were often guarded by Stormtroopers, and staffed with an Imperial recruiter. The Rebel Alliance also made use of Forward Outposts, with a Recruitment Agent staffing one of the offices.
