"The Masked Racer" is a comic story written by Martin Fisher featured in the third issue of Star Wars Comic UK magazine, released on March 6 2014. The story includes the characters Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and Drez Unlin.
Plot summary[]
Anakin and Ahsoka have received word that Jedi Master Plo Koon has gone missing. His last known transmission was sent from the Dug homeworld, Malastare. Suspecting he may have been captured by the Separatists, Anakin and Ahsoka head to the planet to investigate. Upon arrival they learn that famed podracing champion Drez Unlin, a known Separatist conspirator, has taken Plo Koon captive.
Anakin and Ahsoka bet Master Plo Koon's freedom on a podrace between Ahsoka and Drez, using their own freedom as collateral. A daring race between Ahsoka and Drez ensues. Using her Force abilities and quick thinking, Ahsoka is able to emerge victorious.
Drez attempts to back out of the deal, calling in battle droids to defend himself. These prove no match for Anakin and Ahsoka and the duo defeat the droids with ease. After the skirmish, Ahsoka manages to find and release Master Plo Koon. The trio returns to Coruscant with Drez Unlin as their prisoner.
