Fireworks were colorful pyrotechnic displays used for celebrations or special occasions, such as Empire Day on Lothal,[3] the death of Emperor Sheev Palpatine,[1] and Boonta Eve on Tatooine.[7] A type of spinning firework, called a firecracker pinwheel, was used during the Republic Day celebrations of the Galactic Republic.[10]
