Fireworks were colorful pyrotechnic displays used for celebrations or special occasions, such as Empire Day on Lothal, the death of Emperor Sheev Palpatine, and Boonta Eve on Tatooine. A type of spinning firework, called a firecracker pinwheel, was used during the Republic Day celebrations of the Galactic Republic.
