Five Hands was a childish[1] hand-based game traditionally employed to settle disagreements between two parties. It featured fifteen distinct animal gestures—such as rancor, snork, and snoozbird—which the players showcased over the course of three rounds, under the supervision of a referee. A shortened version of the game followed the so-called Roski Rules.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
Five Hands first appeared in "Sagrona Teema," the second episode of the second season of the web-TV series Andor. It was crafted by actor Sam Gilroy, who portrayed Gerdis in the episode, as the Star Wars equivalent of the real-life playground game Rock Paper Scissors.[2]
