Flak vests,[1] also known as a flight vest,[3] were a type of anti-radiation vest worn by some pilots of the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. The vests were worn over a pressurized flight suit and had a life support unit such as the Diagnostech life support unit worn over the top.[2]
