The Fleet Command referred to the command section of the Resistance fleet.[4] During the Battle of Oetchi,[2] the fleet command staff was redistributed among three ships. Vice Admiral Resdox took command of the Nebulon-C escort frigate Anodyne, Vice Admiral Jotis took command of the Vakbeor-class cargo frigate Vigil, and Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo retained command of her ship, the Free Virgillia-class Bunkerbuster[5] Ninka.[4]
During the attack, several Resistance leaders including Holdo, Gial Ackbar and Idrosen Gawat died.[2]
