Flight Leader was the term given to the leader of a group of starfighters.

Ubbel served as Flight Leader of Onyx Squadron under the callsign Onyx Leader.[5]

During the attack on Lothal, the Twi'lek Hera Syndulla was the flight leader of the Alliance's forces that intended to attack the fuel depot in Capital City on the planet Lothal.[1]

During the Assault on the Mako-Ta Space Docks, Jedi Padawan Luke Skywalker served as the flight leader of the newly formed Rogue Squadron.[3]

During the Battle of Endor, the Imperial Maus Monare served as the flight leader of Sapphire Squadron.[2]

Rebel Lieutenant Shara Bey served as flight leader of a group of N-1 starfighters (consisting of herself, Princess Leia Organa and Queen Sosha Soruna) during the Battle of Theed, a battle that was part of Operation: Cinder.[6]
