Floog was a male individual who ran the Drahgor III station fuel refinery on the planet Drahgor III with the help of his nephews Flanx and Flix, as well as Flix's cousins—Fleck, Fleez, and Flobb. At some point, Flix stopped working for Floog.[1] By 34 ABY,[2] Floog had retired and given control of the refinery to Flanx.[1] In that year,[2] Flix visited the refinery to request fuel for the supertanker fuel depot Colossus. He thought his uncle would be helpful and provide him with fuel but learned of his retirement from Flanx.[1]

Floog was first mentioned in "From Beneath,"[1] the sixth episode of the second season of the animated television series Star Wars Resistance, which aired on November 10, 2019.[3] The scene that mentioned Floog was previewed four days prior in the episode's trailer, which was posted on the official Star Wars YouTube channel.[4]
