Fly For Freedom was a recruitment poster for the Alliance to Restore the Republic created by the Mandalorian artist Sabine Wren. Initially, Wren only intended it as a gift for her friend and fellow rebel Hera Syndulla, lead pilot of Phoenix Squadron. However, the artwork caught the eye of Mon Mothma, founder of the Alliance, who thought it a perfect representation of the effectiveness of rebel fighter forces. Mothma then asked Wren to complete the painting and add a call to action, the phrase "Fly For Freedom!" written in High Galactic letters.[1]
