Force Cry was a powerful technique that was available to only the strongest Jedi Masters, due to the amount of energy required to use this technique.
Using the Force, a Jedi would call other Jedi to his or her position. For those who heard the call, it was near-impossible to resist. The most well known use of such a call began a Convocation of the Jedi Order on Ossus, during the Dark Nest Crisis.
Raynar Thul used this to summon the survivors of the Myrkr strike team at the beginning of the Crisis, while Luke Skywalker used this technique on Ossus for the Ossus convocation shortly before the end.
