Fortombro was a pirate who resided in the galaxy. During the reign of the Galactic Empire, Fortombro hijacked an entire shipment of Imperial mining droids, and the pirate reprogrammed the droids into deadly fighters. Only one droid, RN-18, survived the process, so Fortombro began renting the droid to assorted customers. At the time of the Iron Blockade, Fortombro rented RN-18 to a young smuggler who operated in the Anoat sector.[1]
Behind the scenes
Fortombro was created for Star Wars: Uprising, a canon mobile game released in 2015. In Uprising, the character was mentioned in the description for RN-18,[1] a Crew Member added in a 2016 update.[2]
