This is something that I have wondered for a long time. The Ebon Hawk has a turret atop its ship. But where exactly do you enter it? In KotOR and KotOR II, the player character is controlling the turret by being inside of it, rather than from some separate controls. Yet, there's really no place on the map that seems to lead to the turret. So, how can anyone actually enter it? Whenever the ship is attacked, the player character is seen running across the corridor past the med bay. The screen then blacks out, and seconds later, the player is inside of the turret. - You can't enter it from the map. It's just one of those things where It would take up space to put in-game. Though if I were to take a guess I'd say that the controls for it are in the security room just on your left coming back from the cockpit. The cut scene only shows the player leave the cockpit. This is further shown by the turret on the front being just a turret on a pole. NaruHina Talk 18:35, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, i don't think the developers of the game were thinking that someone would think so much into the whole turret atop the ship thing as much as you are. They just want you to accept the fact that the turret is there and get on with the playing of the game. Sithmaster15 21:41, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
- Or maybe we're just making mountains out of molehills. I would imagine that the top turret on the Hawk is like that of the Millennium Falcom, with the turbolasers on the side being controlled by the cockpit like they would be in a starfighter. It's not that hard to imagine that such things wouldn't be built into the game by the developers, as it would take too long and use too much resources for no appreciable gain.--Goodwood (Alliance Intelligence) 21:51, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
- No, no, no. if you wander around the ebon hawk, near the center there is a ladder mush like on the Millenium Falcon. CmdrA-118 22:48, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
- No, no, no, no. the ladder appears in the Kotor II Training level, it leads not to the turret, but to the exterior of the ship. Unless of couse the entrance to the turret is from the outside, but thats dumb–who wants to climb to the exterior of a ship while under enemy fire?Soresumakashi 09:01, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- Isn't it possible that the ladder leads to both? It's a pretty tall ship, so you could put a crawlway to the turret. Also, it most likely wouldn't be in a separate room, because what's the need for a transparisteel dome or screen if you're not going to be present? JorrelFraajic 16:35, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- The view from the turret does not look like the top of the turret i think that means there is another room CmdrA-118 20:17, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- You're all wrong :)

If you go to the Dynamic-class freighter and look on the layout of the ship, then match the sections with the numbers you'll see at the center of the ship there's the ladder right next to the med-bay, clearly marked as Turret Access. Eroll Parat 18:48, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- ok CmdrA-118 18:53, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- So that proves it.the ladder leads to the turret and the exterior of the ship.Soresumakashi 06:33, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
