Their are a lot of contradicting sources. First Vader interrogates [[Thurlow Harris]] who gives him the name, another pilot who jumps into an acid pit, [[Birra Seah]] in the new Star Wars series, and finally Lucas says Vader just asks Palpatine who tells him "Yeah he's your son".
