What's the rules around undo ping-pong?

I made what I felt was a correction to https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Template:ABY/BBY, by adding the missing year 8 BBY. Just because nothing seems to have occurred in that year, doesn't mean it doesn't exist and not having it in a calendar simply because of the absence of evidence of any historical moments, I thought absurd.

https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/User:VergenceScatter undid that edit. I undid his undoing of my edit. He undid my undoing of his undoing of my edit.

This is, also, absurd.

  • As I noted in my edit summary, you were making an edit to the wrong continuity page. 8 BBY currently exists only as a Legends page. If you were to create a page at 8 BBY/Canon that would be a different situation, but in the meantime that page should not be listed on a canon navbox. Also, it's not at all "absurd" to not have a page for a year that has never been shown in a canon source. Otherwise, where would we draw the line? Should we create pages for every year from 13,000,000,000 BBY to 137 ABY? VergenceScatter (talk) 07:15, 23 November 2021 (UTC)
  • Also, the relevant policy for reversions is here. VergenceScatter (talk) 07:19, 23 November 2021 (UTC)

Your argument is, also, absurd. It's a year in-between other years, not listing years to infinity and beyond.

But whatever, enjoy your toxic absurdity. I'm done. Unsigned comment by Lambda MF-1 (talk • contribs).
