Currently, the universe is a redirect to the galaxy. I'm fishing for people who would be opposed to making that its own article, as we know of a few other galaxies aside from the main one, like the Yuuzhan Vong galaxy. I'd say keeping it the way we have it now would be like saying the our solar system, far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the Western Spiral arm of the Galaxy, was the Milky Way. Or, more boring, calling the Milky Way the Universe. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 12:49, September 17, 2012 (UTC)

  • And, yes, the universe has been mentioned at least once, in Millennium Falcon. We can conduct text searches to find other novel sources. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 12:50, September 17, 2012 (UTC)
    • Funnily enough I was just reading a scene in the Outbound Flight where C'baoth was boasting how the Jedi are the ultimate power in the universe when they were on their way to another galaxy. So, yeah. They are not the same thing.--Dionne Jinn (Something to say?) 12:54, September 17, 2012 (UTC)
      • Motti said that too, way back in that movie that started it all. "This station is now the ultimate power in the Universe!" Fode & Beed also humorously suggest the existence of multiple universes in Episode I --- "I don't care what Universe you're from --- that's gotta hurt." • So, yeah, it's G-canon. How'd I forget that? xD NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 13:06, September 17, 2012 (UTC)
          • Checking the sources for Big Bang would probably be helpful when writing the article, too. Menkooroo (talk) 13:15, September 17, 2012 (UTC)
            • Don't forget that Jedi dogma, as related by Obi-Wan, posits that the Force permeates the whole of the universe, not just the GFFA. DD97Which bear is best? 21:43, September 18, 2012 (UTC)
